HELP is needed, diet plans and losing weight tips?

okay, let me get this straight, next year is my last year at college, and I really wanna make the best out of it, but I have to lose weight and I mean lots of weight, I’m very fat 77 kg and only 163 cm tall, I need to lose like 20 kgs, can I actually do that? Give me tips? Advices, anything you can help with but please NO medications and NO crazy websites

okay so i have little time to lose weight, i’m 14 and 5′2”
i want to lose weight and inches off my waist. i know the common answer would be exercising ha. but say i choose not to exercise, is there any other weight losing tips?

Look dear, you can’t lose weight without exercising. But, if you want to lose weight off your waist I’ll tell you a few things to do. Look up the "plank" where you get in the push up position except with your elbows and forarms on the ground instead. Then hold it for as long as you can. It’ll hurt and you’ll shake, but it’s the best exercise for the abs you can do. Carry around water all time, and word is ice water will kill calories quicker.

I’m paralyzed from the weight down so my physical motion is limited of course. But I do want to still lose weight and exercise more. I know one good way of losing weight is running (or rolling) every day but we’ve been having a lot of rain lately so it’s been difficult to go out and do that. Any ideas?

Im paralysed from the chest down (T3). I eat a well balanced diet so I dont put on weight and try to excercise 3-4 times a week.

Try checking out your local gym. They cant/wont turn you away just because your a para. They should have facilities for this sort of thing. Swimming is a brilliant source of excercise, as well as being theraputic. I really enjoy swimming, and because I dont have a lot of balance, i feel safe in the water because my body is supported.

Just got a desk job about 4 months ago and Ive gained all kinds of weight! What are some tips for eating right, what kind of excercise etc that could help. BTW….I’m still damn sexy ;0)

If you are given a 15 minute break, use that time to take a walk. Either outside or around the building.

At lunch, spend half of your hour eating and the other walking.

Eat plenty of fruits and veggies throughout the day and drink plenty of water.

I went from a Field job to a desk job and put on 10+ lbs., it is not that unusual.

my friend wants to lose weight an would also like to know if there are any good tips she could use.

Eat less fatty foods and do cardio workouts such as running and jogging. Even walking.

Eat in small meals every few hours not 3 big meals throughout the day. This will keep your metabolism going.

Be more active and just give it time. =]

I suggest eating whole wheat. Anything with fiber because that will kick start your metabolism and send it into over drive.

Turkey is the best meat to eat because it’s the leanest. Get smart balance butter. Any veggies or fruits would help. And get 1% milk instead of 2%.

What are some basic tips for losing weight?

I’m 14 and would like to lose a bit of weight. I’m not worried about losing weight really fast or anything. I have about 5 months to slim down. I just want to get rid of my big hips and tummy. I don’t mind being a bit curvy still but I’d like to be able to wear closer fitting clothes and not be uncomfortable.

try preparing your meals as you usually would, take 1/3 of the meat and starches off the plate, leave any veggies or salads. Also try drinking a bottle of water with a meal, drink between each bite. Try to squeeze in 20-30 minutes of exercise at least 5 days a week, weather it be walking, yardwork, heavy duty housework, try to break a sweat.
You should lose 2-3 lbs a week this way.
Also, stop drinking soda, it’s so bad for weight loss. Switch to lowfat or non-fat dairy,

I need some tips for losing weight and building muscle?

I could use some tips and websites if possible for building muscle and lossing weight.

I want to be able to do these excersises at home (of course I will do some cadio outside of the house) but I want to do be able to do these exciersises without weights and machines.

I know some of the Navy Seal workouts are this way.

Without weights you can only build your body to a certain degree. Maybe that’s good enough for you, so then you can do bodyweight exercises. Losing weight comes from dieting and cardio.
