Any Tips on losing weight around the midriff?

Does anyone have any tips on what I can do to speed up weight loss at my midriff?

Im currently down the gym and eating healthy but I dont seem to be making much impact!

Any tips or advice would be great.

Give me your best tips for losing weight and getting in shape. Esp in the areas of abs and upper arms. I know, I know diet and excerise is the best way to lose weigth and be healthy. I just want the best tips for getting in shape. I want a flat tummy and good upper arms.

One big thing i have found out is stop drinking soda. Just doing that i lost 12lbs. All i drank was water, tea, milk and juice. Other than that yes exercise and watching what you eat are key but in doing so you need to make sure your body gets 100% of the vitamins and nutrients it needs so that it can work 100% with you when burning calories.

Does anyone have good tips with losing weight?

I weigh 165 and my goal is to reach 120 (whenever) and in my mid 20’s. I have limit myself to 1300 calories too with fresh fruit and veggies. I am also eating no meat or poultry with the exception of milk and eggs. I drink only water and I walk around a lot for my job and for school. Does anyone have any good tips or experience of weight loss they would like to share? Thanks

Stay away from fat and sugar. Dont eat after 7pm. Eat 5 small meals in a day, including snacks, not 3 big ones. Eat grilled and boiled foods, not fried and fastfoods.
Here is a sample diet plan;
Breakfast: Slices of tomatoes, a piece of cheese, 4 5 olives and green tea
Snack: nuts or fruits or yogurt
Lunch: Salad
Snack again
Dinner: Grilled chicken, turkey or fish and boiled vegetables or salad
You should exercise. You can exercise at home

okay, let me get this straight, next year is my last year at college, and I really wanna make the best out of it, but I have to lose weight and I mean lots of weight, I’m very fat 77 kg and only 163 cm tall, I need to lose like 20 kgs, can I actually do that? i want to lose weight and inches off my waist. i know the common answer would be exercising ha. but say i choose not to exercise, is there any other weight losing tips?

Look dear, you can’t lose weight without exercising. But, if you want to lose weight off your waist I’ll tell you a few things to do. Look up the "plank" where you get in the push up position except with your elbows and forarms on the ground instead. Then hold it for as long as you can. It’ll hurt and you’ll shake, but it’s the best exercise for the abs you can do. Carry around water all time, and word is ice water will kill calories quicker.

does anyone have tips of losing weight and exercising for those paralyzed from the waist down?

I’m paralyzed from the weight down so my physical motion is limited of course. But I do want to still lose weight and exercise more. I know one good way of losing weight is running (or rolling) every day but we’ve been having a lot of rain lately so it’s been difficult to go out and do that. Any ideas?

Im paralysed from the chest down (T3). I eat a well balanced diet so I dont put on weight and try to excercise 3-4 times a week.

Try checking out your local gym. They cant/wont turn you away just because your a para. They should have facilities for this sort of thing. Swimming is a brilliant source of excercise, as well as being theraputic. I really enjoy swimming, and because I dont have a lot of balance, i feel safe in the water because my body is supported.
